Having jeans tailored?
Does anyone know a good place to take jeans to be tailored and how much it costs? I only have 2 pair that fit well, and 1 are capri's, so they won't last much longer. I just need them taken in at the waist and butt (I have no ass, even jeans that fit my waist sag in the butt - thanks grandpa - he never had any sort of butt, we joked that it sank in).

i still use the lady that did my wedding alterations! 5 years now! yikes! her name is Toni Cavin and her email is toni_sews@yahoo.com. She just does this out of her house and she's really busy, but shoot her an email, tell her Amy referred her. She's never really turned anything down, especially a simple hem. she only charges $5 for a hem! It may be a little different for jeans, but you can ask her. you'll have them back in a few days.... OH, she lives off New Ballwin Road (not sure if that's a good location for you)...
Let me know if you end up using her! she does all my alterations and is CHEAP! (well SHE'S not cheap... haha)
