I responded below to what we've picked out for the nursery (and the lack of what I've picked out for bedding) Any input?

Re: karebear
Cute crib!! I love both of those bedding sets, but you're right - they're freaking expensive! If you can find an Etsy seller with a style/price you like they should be able to send you other fabric samples and make whatever you want.
If I come across anything I'll let you know!
butting in:
i LOVE serena and lily! way too pricey for us too.
we got our bedding from restoration hardware baby...check their website. i thought their prices were similar to pottery barn and we were lucky enough to have a good family friend buy us all the bedding. when it came down to it, all we got and needed was the bumper (yes we used one), the crib skirt, and a sheet. H found the changing pad cover on ebay and the friend also bought the mobile (which we didnt need but ended up using bc she sent it).
Oh can I just say sort of what Bucks was saying. The decorative comforter can't actually be used as a blanket...well I guess it could eventually but I wouldn't....and it falls off the bed a lot haha
So the crib sheet(ended up buying about 3 different styles at Target that I think match the bedding better than the one it came with), crib skirt and bumper (yes we use it too) are the only things we use. We have the mobile but she's not interested in it (and ours says to only use up to 3 months) I was confused by that and still have it up.
I bought changing pad covers in different colors that matched bedding because you will go through them a lot and no point spending a ton to match the bedding.
Thanks for the input ladies. I have searched etsy high and low and haven't found anything I like as much. I'm hoping if I hold out I will find something similar that's cheaper!
I didn't even realize Restoration Hardware had baby bedding! Their stuff is gorgeous!
This has been the toughest part so far and it stinks because it holds up what I can choose for the rest of the room! I'm really hooked on those graphic elephants!
