Our server crashed this morning. It would figure, too b/c we have a job that HAS to be done today, but its not even approved yet. Which I can't do b/c I can't get into our system.
I'm ready for a nap. I don't know what's going on lately but my already sleep deprived self is getting less & less each night. I'm waking up multiple times and cannot get back to sleep.
I'm going to play bingo tonight w/ my sister. I know it prob sounds a little silly, but we have so much fun and we haven't been in ages.
Hope you all have a great day!!!
Re: Random Tuesday Thoughts
I hate when the server crashed since its my responsibility to get it back up and running! Luckily it doesn't happen much!! (I probably just jinxed myself!)
Bingo is a lot of fun. On our cruise my mom and I played everyday! Have fun playing with your sister!
Isn't technology fantastic?? I enjoy bingo, too, btw. I almost won some good money on our cruise. Almost. LOL!
I'm very happy this morning - I realized that barring anything major, I should have no problem hitting my required hours this month, even with taking half of Friday and half of Monday off for the NY trip. (My job is weird - we can't take half days off. Either you work or you don't, so technically if I work an hour, I don't need to take it off. However, I still have to hit my hours for the month - and it's like the pieces of flair in Office Space, if we do the minimum required work, technically we're not in trouble, but they give us crap about it.)
Anyway, I'm sure I worked over 40 last week, so I'm not feeling guilty about the half days. (Friday will be more like a 3/4 day anyway.)
I miss H, but the good thing is that I'm busy enough this week that I won't have time to miss him too much. And honestly, it's nice not having to worry about waking him up in the morning. I almost always get up before him and I try to be quiet but he still says I wake him up. (On the other hand, on the rare occasion that he has to be up early, his alarm goes off, he hits snooze 3 or 4 times, and he turns the bedroom light on! I don't do any of those things!)
This hasto be a guy thing. Me= using cell phone for light. Shower with bathroom door closed, turn out light, open door. Head to closet, close door, turn on light and get dressed. Not anymore because...
H= snooze+many prompts from me to get up. Gets up, bedroom light on, bathroom light on, shower, singing in the shower, hyping up the dogs, etc. I think he just doesn't understand how frustrating being a light sleeper is. The man could/would sleep through a tornado.
