People are still trapped in collapsed buildings, phone lines are down... It's not looking good. Thank goodness my friends there live outside the city, but they have family and friends who work there...

My old rugby coach/friend can't reach his sister, who works in Christchurch.
We're hoping it's just the phone lines being down. He's in Brisbane, Australia, though so he is going out of his mind. They are really close because their parents died when they were kind of young; he's the baby of the family and I think he's a little lost without his big sister...
