Who will win Best Actress this year?[Poll]

We just watched Winter's Bone this weekend - it was really really good. We haven't seen too many of the movies this year (but hand over feet better than Social Network, kids are all right, and toy story (but it's hard to put TS in the same category KWIM?). Jennifer Lawrence was really really good. Dark and gritty - great movie - doubt it will win anything, but I really think she and the movie should be strong contenders.

I totally agree, great movie and great performance (I think social network and kids were both very mediocre movies).  I do think Natalie Portman will take this though (even having not seen BS).

Ditto - I haven't seen BS either, but considering they hype and the GG - I think she'll get it.

I think it will either be Natalie Portman or Annette Benning, just because they are the two that have the most hype. Annette for seniority and Natalie for popularity. Could go either way.

Haven't seen Blue Valentine, Rabbit Hole or Winter's Bone, yet. However, I don't think either Natalie Portman or Annette Bening should get the award. Neither performance was that fabulous. Annette Bening basically played a lesbian version of her character in American Beauty.

It wouldn't surprise me if Annette Benning won for just being around so long. They're not supposed to vote that way, but they totally do.
