Our tech team has launched updates to The Nest today. As a result of these updates, members of the Nest Community will need to change their password in order to continue participating in the community. In addition, The Nest community member's avatars will be replaced with generic default avatars. If you wish to revert to your original avatar, you will need to re-upload it via The Nest.

iphone help!
i have a very old iphone (3g), but never had any problems with it. 20 minutes ago i noticed that when i would hit the top right button to idle the phone nothing would happen. the touch screen has frozen, it won't shut down, it won't do anything (except the ringer volume does work). help?! at&t is closed...of course!

AT&T wouldn't be able to help you but Apple could. Do you have an Apple store near you? You can schedule an appointment with them online for their Genius Bar tomorrow.
Have you held down both the top right button and the main button on the phone for about 10 seconds?
Have you plugged your phone in and see if it would react?
I had my iPhone 4 recently acting wonky like that and it was a hardware problem and Apple replaced my phone for me.
