Questions for a financial planner?
I'm going to seek out a new financial planner for DH and I. The one I was assigned recently kind of gives me the creeps and only wants to sell me insurance. (Which we can't get anyway!)
So - I'm meeting to "interview" the brother of our tax lady next week.
Besides "what are your fees?" what else should I ask or be aware of?

What are your qualifications?
What services do you offer?
What is your approach to financial planning?
Will you be the only person working with me?
How will I pay for your services?
Have you ever been publicly disciplined for any unlawful or unethical actions in your professional career?
Can I have it in writing?
