Last night, an ambulance came for my neighbor. She wasn't sick.
I saw a relative outside their house when I was leaving for work this morning. She said she had massive bleeding in her head & they pulled the plug this morning.
So sad. She was a very nice lady.
Re: My neighbor died :(
Baby Macy is here!
12/09 - Macy (daughter) | 4/10 - Began TTC Baby #2 | 12/10 - Chemical Pregnancy | 1/12 - Miscarriage at 14 weeks | DX - PCOS & Hyperthyroidism
I'm sorry, that's very sad. I don't know how common brain bleeding is, but DH has had two grandparents die from brain aneurisms (sp?) and MIL died a year ago this Friday from a fall and she had bleeding in the brain. It's a hard loss, because it usually comes unexpected.
Thinking of you and your neighbor.

I'm not sure how old she was. Her 'companion', Dan, is 92. I know she's not nearly that old. Maybe early 80's, if that.
When we first moved in, they came over to introduce themselves. He said, 'I'm married & she's married, but we're not married to each other.' I giggled a little. And he continued to say that both of their spouses had passed away 10 years ago and they still consider themselves married to their late spouse. So they are companions. I thought that was cute.
DH went over after the ambulance left to offer him a ride to the hospital. Dan said he went upstairs to take a nap, came down & found her on the floor. DH said there was vomit on the floor. He said it could have been bloody or something red that she ate. He didn't look too closely.
She's originally from Russia & had some interesting stories about her journey here that she shared with me. I was looking forward to getting to know her better this summer, and hear more about her past.
