Health & Fitness Wednesday
It doesn't seem like Wednesday to me. I had to ask my coworker if I had the right day.... that's not a good sign.
Ok everyone, how are you doing this week? I almost hate to say it, but swimsuit weather will be here in a few months.

Re: Health & Fitness Wednesday
Ugh, I'm hating this freezing cold weather. I started C25K last week. I have finished week 1. Today is my running day and should be the first day of week 2. I think I'm going to just do another day of week 1. I feel ready to move ahead, but DH, some friends and I are going skiing this weekend. We are leaving eaaaaarly on Friday morning, skiing Fri afternoon/evening and all day Saturday. I'm missing my run Friday because of skiing, so I don't want to start week 2 until I'm back and can do the whole week.
Haven't really lost anything yet, but it's about time for my monthly visitor. I'm hoping by next week, I'll have some pounds off to share!
I told my DH that I wanted him to pick out a bikini for my wedding anniversary gift (July 17) His gift is; me, looking hot in it! Yikes, no pressure. I have to loose at least 20 lbs to look good in a bikini.
I have been doing the Jillian Michaels "30 day Shred", and also eating cleaner. I am also going to be running my first 1/2 marathon on June 19, so I am hoping that the above along with the marathon training will help me reach my bikini body goal.
I started on Feb 2nd. I can feel a difference in my body, but we are still not bikini ready.
I worked out once last week because I was sick and haven't worked out at all this week. We are heading out of town for a long weekend tomorrow night and I'm sorta still recovering so I've just been taking it easy - I didn't want to get worse before our trip.
On the plus side, I lost about 4 pounds from being sick. But I'm pretty sure I've gained that all back.
Next week I'm starting C25K and I was looking up some 5k races for me to do in May. I've narrowed it down to 3 so I just have to pick one and sign up for it!
I'm doing OKish.....
I went to the gym yesterday and had a good workout. My fat is sore today so I always take that as a good sign haha.
I ate pretty good yesterday too.
I didn't go to the gym this morning because I had a call in for work, so I got up and showered...so I'm over the gym after taking a shower lol. I had yogurt for breakfast and hopefully I'll make myself eat well again today.
My birthday was Monday. My mom made me a cake and I have leftovers of it at home. Not good. But so delicious.
I did jm 30 ds last night- and that was my first work out this week. Ugh. I think I'm going to ride Velvet tonight. The first horse show is in May... so we don't have much time to make a lottttt of improvement. I also need to start running now that I can actually see the sidewalks again. To be honest, I'm kind of excited to start running again, but I still have problems getting myself to actually do it. I'm not sure why. I know I need to start because my first ever 5k is in early June.
Random Fitness info: DH was approached by the gym he goes to and asked if he was interested in being a trainer there! He's very excited
I was good today and yesterday! As lazy as I was feeling yesterday I put in my ab ripper X and then did 3/4 of the shoulders and arms video of P90X!!
Today I ate pretty well, and when I finally got home from work I immediately turned on my P90X yoga- It is an 1.5hrs of death yoga- but feels amazing when you finish. Needless to say my abs are hurting right now
And I stepped on the scale and I lost 2 lbs!! Wahoo!!!
I know that as long as I keep up with P90X the weight and inches will come off, maybe not immediately but over time!
I've been doing much better at avoiding snacking on junk food in the afternoons. So my eating healthy is pretty good (except for the Chinese from yesterday...but it was a crummy day).
I'm still struggling with the working out. I have no motivation when it's cold out b/c I'm not part of a gym and don't like to run. I think I'll have to get 30 day shred or something to get motivated.
