Picture Disaster... (Rant...Long, sorry)
So... Our photographer had done our engagement pictures, and my bridal pictures, and I LOVE her work, so we decided to go with her for our wedding as well, since she knew us, and knew what we liked...
Well... Our engagement pictures, and my bridal pictures turned out FABULOUS!!! I loved them... We have the rights to all of our pictures, wedding included, and we get all prints, edited and non-edited on a CD... Well, when I took the CDs to walmart or CVS, the pictures turned out wonderful... Even when I blew them up, GORGEOUS!
So, I decided when I got our wedding CD, that I would upload them to Shutterfly, because I got a free photobook, since I purchased my dress from David's Bridal...I was so excited, and I wouldn't wait to get that orange package in the mail, with wonderful memories inside... HUGE disappointment when I received my package... The pictures were HORRIBLE!!! Most of them, you couldnt even recognize who the person was... I mean you could see most of it, but it was just BAD! Its like you could see EVERY pixel in the picture... I was in tears...
So I call the photographer, and she said that she didn't understand what happened, so she would order some prints to see if it was her or me... Or whatever... I am just so upset that my photos are somehow getting horribly messed up from the CD, to uploading, to printing... I don't get it... Especially because when I load the CD onto my computer, all the pictures look so great...
Sorry, this was mostly a vent... I just hope that something can get fixed, and I just don't understand, especially since I did the same thing with our engagements and my bridals, and those came out perfectly!! Even when I printed 4x6 prints, they just looked plain BAD!!! Please send well wishes, because its not like I can redo that day over again...

Maybe it's just a 'file' thing. Did you see the images on her website? Seems like something got screwed up in the downloading process.
I hope things work out because that would suck. Majorly.
