  • good morning, off to zumba and then it's time for cleaning!
  • Morning!

So, I've lost all my work "favorites" links in I.E. The last time this happened I had deleted them (wtf right?) but they were in my deleted folder. This time? Finito. They're just gone.

    Any ideas?

  • Good morning!

AJ had a weight check at the pedi the morning, he's up to 11 lb 2 oz. He's moved out of 0 % and back into 5% hopefully he keeps packing on the pounds.

We're at the opposite end of the spectrum in the 94th percentile as of January, though I have a feeling she may be leveling off since we eliminated a bottle and started solids since then.

Yay AJ! Keep packing on those ounces! Azlyn was down to the 25th percentile for weight at her last appointment. Once they start moving around, they definitely thin out!

The pedi said we could add butter or heavy cream to his rice cereal/oatmeal to get extra calories in...doesn't that sound bizarre???  I thought we were supposed to avoid dairy until a certain age?

I'm just glad they are still fine with BFing, I always get nervous that they are going to want to switch him to formula for extra calories. I'm not opposed to FF I just think it would be too much effort to wean him...and it is so much faster to just whip out the boob. I also like the extra ~600 calorie/day burnPizzaBig Smile

Your post reminded me of the poster "ijack" - she has a lil' bitty baby too and a blog with fattening her up:

Yeah, I thought that about the whole dairy thing too.. but then all these recipes I found had dairy in them. I eventually figured out it is just that your LO just shouldn't have straight milk until 1 year because Formula or Breastmilk should their main source of nutrition. I give DD all sorts of dairy.... yogurt (greek and regular), cottage cheese, regular cheese, etc. She loves it.

  • Good afternoon, ladies. I had to meet with my voc rehab counselor about trying to get cane training. The whole thing is just ridiculous to me. I will never understand why it is so hard to get something so simple. All the facilities that provide this service require you to come from the state's Vocational Rehab program or via some grant. I have to jump through hoops because I'm 1) employed, and 2) under 55. You can't get training to use a white cane as a private individual. W.T.F.!
