My sister and her family are coming out to visit in a few weeks. Her kids are 13 and 9. We're going to spring training games on a few of the days, but I'm not really sure what to do on Saturday with them. We'll also have DS with us. I was thinking Rawhide, but maybe they're too old for that? Are there any resort pools that are heated? It's way too cold for our pool, but if the weather is nice and the pool is heated, I thought they might like that. We may also go out to Cabela's (the 9 yr. old loves hunting), so I'm open to idea in the West Valley. I'd prefer to do something outdoors....
Also, we'll probably have the 13 yr. old babysit on Fri. or Sat. night while the adults go out. My sister really likes country music, so I thought we'd go to Toby Keith's, but I've taken her there before. So, now I'm thinking maybe Santan Flats in QC- has anyone been there? Did you like it? We're all pretty low key, so we're good with dive bars and the like, but I'd like to go somewhere fun! Any other EV suggestions welcome!
Re: SanTan Flats and things to do with kids
I've been to SanTan Flats once before, and we really liked it. Friends of ours live out that way, and go all the time. It's definitely low key, but a cool atmosphere. I'd recommend it for sure!
Phillip and I go to San Tan Flats often since it is out by us. We love it as it is a place to get great food and enjoy eating outside by a fire. I highly recommend it for people visiting.
