Currently, -9'F (actually a bit colder than that but anyway...) High of -1'F today. Sat and Sun it's supposed to warm up to the 20'F ish mark and snow... Yep, it's cold.... I would normally expect it to be around the 20'F ish mark this time of year, as in barely freezing. But, maybe I'm getting old and my memory is failing.
Thanks to MSN that can give the forecast in 'C or 'F so I can write it right for you girls...

Melting Snow... because it means that spring is actually on the way and it's not snowing or cold.
Re: Long cold winter.
That's insane!
When does it usually start to warm up by you?
And what exactly do you consider warm?
Okay, so we're supposed to get *really* cold weather this weekend. What does that mean for us? 50 F. I'm considering not leaving the house all weekend.
I can't even fathom 1 degree. Just isn't happening in my mind.
Yeah, but you live in CA. It probably rains all winter there like it does in Vancouver. UGH. At least, though it's freezing half to death, it's gorgeously sunny outside....
Me too.
One of the things I'm looking forward to about living in Kenya is the weather: highs of 70-95 year round. No cold, no extreme heat. Ahhhh...
Even though this is our rainy season, it's nowhere near constant. This year we've gotten a couple of days of rain (not hard rain, more like a shower or two and some drizzle), about once or twice a month. We're supposed to get rain maybe today, and over the weekend. And it rained last Saturday. But that's a lot for us.
Bonnie, that really stinks I hope it warms up soon, I was complaining at 5'F and 8'F so I can't imagine those.
