Anniversary advice and ideas

So DH and my anny is coming up next week and we will be in a cabin in sedona which already is going to be super romantic. No tv no cell phones just me and him. We will be gone for 3 nights. I wanted to make our actual anniversary special. Any ideas of stuff to do or bring with me but that I can keep as a suprise? We are going to have a candle light dinner and I will have our first dance song on my ipod to play (cheesy I know lol ) and I want to get some lingerie but not sure of where to go that will cost an arm and a leg since I am losing quite a bit of weight but I was trying to get some other ideas of cute or fun stuff to do. Any suggestions.

Re: Anniversary advice and ideas

  • i <3 Sedona!!!

hiking, helicopter tour, pink jeep tour are some obvious ones for sedona. honestly, when i'm in sedona i don't want to do anything but drive around and enjoy the scenery.

    happy anniversary!!! :)

  • I love the drive on the 89A from Sedona to Flagstaff.  It is absolutely a gorgeous drive through the canyons.  I would make a really romantic CD  and take that drive and just enjoy being together.  If you've never done the drive, you have to.  It's stunning!!  Once you get to Flagstaff you could have lunch and then head back.  It's about a 30-45 minute drive and so worth it!
  • This isn't romantic, per se, but when my husband and I rent a cabin up in Show Low, we usually bring a few board games and card games (although you could make certain card games romantic I guess...  hehe).  It's fun just relaxing and spending quality time together (like you said - no TV), and we have fun playing games together.
  • And I ditto the Pink Jeep tours.  They are a lot of fun!
  • massage....  i've never tried a couples massage, but i'm betting it might be pretty romantic and will make you both feel really good.  =)
