So, dentist appointment this morning. Ok, has to be done. As I'm driving there, I hear this noise that sounds like I drove over one of the turtles in the road (that's what I call those little reflector things in between lanes). I look back, nope, not one in the middle of my lane. This is not good. As I approach the dentist's office, my tire pressure light goes off. I open the door to hear gushing air. My tire is flat in less than 3 minutes, with a huge bolt sticking out of the tread. Joy! Text DH to come help (yes, I'm that helpless female that can't change a tire, not to mention I didn't even know where my spare was or if I had one).
BUT, I still have a dentist appointment. And sadly, it was probably one of my worst ever. I'll be back in there two more times in the next couple weeks to fix all the stuff they can, and back in 3 months for a followup on my poor gums. And, still have to see a surgeon to get my wisdom teeth out asap. Worst morning in a very long time.
Oh, and of course, tire could not be saved. So my one year old tire is now trash. Can I try this day over again?
Re: Are we sure it's not Monday?
What a bad day
The good news is that the tire went fully flat when you were at the dentist (so on time to the appointment) and not while you were on the side of a major road.
Of course teeth are the worst. DH had his wisdom teeth out in August and the surgeon he used was wonderful. Do you want his info?

I was thinking this, too. I'm glad you're OK! I hope tomorrow is better!
