Thanks for the link (GA legislature)... that's the most insane thing I've ever seen.
I'm so glad to see that ectopics are no exception. Absolutely brilliant. Let's see, after about 2wks of spotting and horrible stress, when my ectopic was actually diagnosed I was given two options: 1) immediate surgery to remove the blocked tube or 2) a shot of something used during chemotherapy (my then-breastfeeding OB, literally couldn't handle the container b/c of the poisons).
That's it... I literally was not allowed to leave the hospital w/o choosing b/c the risk from the ectopic was "too high". Yeah, lots of fun. I'd totally use that as a method of birth control. Brilliant. It was a really enjoyable afternoon and I love to provide the documentation to various gov't officials. Really nice experience and something I love to discuss with others, especially strangers.
Seriously though, I'm completely offended. And that's as a more-or-less **personally** conservative, Catholic.

I am appalled! A miscarriage is such an emotional and devastating time for women. Having to deal with these "Uterus Police" would only compound the devastation! I can't believe that this man honestly thinks it will pass.
The more crap I hear from conservatives the more liberal I become!
