Malibu Wines

Has anyone been here before?  My hubby and I went for the first time a couple of weeks ago and then ate at M Cafe afterwards.

I plan on going back and bringing a couple of friends. I think the atmosphere is better with a big group of people.

Just curious if anyone else has been there and what their thoughts of it were.

Re: Malibu Wines

  • Yup!  I've been there a couple of times.  It's nice in the summer to sit outside for a while. But personally, I like some of the other stops on the malibu wine trail better.

Malibu Wine Trail: Rosenthal, Malibu Family Wines, Sip Cielo, and Cornell Winery

Cornelly winery is my favorite.  I love Cornell because they have a nice art gallery and seating inside.  It's always a great experience.  They serve a variety of wines from the general region.

Sip Cielo is nice because they have fire pits outside to sit around.

Rosenthal is right on PCH - nice location by the water.

  • Thanks for the info.  I'll check 'em out.
  • Excellent.  I've been meaning to check these places out.

    :)

  • Also for wine lovers: today Wally's is having a Frog's Leap tasting - $10 for 6 wines.  If you go to Napa is $20 for 4 wines.  Good deal!

    Oh eff.

I think I bought a bottle of Frog's Leap during the tent sale.  Would have loved to have tasted more. :(

  • I went to Malibu Wines with a group of friends, and it was definitely a great experience with a group.  It was even RAINING when we were there, and we still had a great time.  I think its charm is actually in the fact that it's all outdoors.  We also plan to go back!
