Re: PG/Mom Check-In
OMG, I'm in the MOM list now!
Yay!
We are doing well adjusting to life with little Zoe. She is so cute and cuddly and makes the funniest faces! BF is going well still, which I am really happy about! Zoe is having some white/yellow crusty stuff come out of her left eye. I think it's a result of a blocked tear duct, but I am going to call the pedi just to make sure and see if they want her to come in.
I had a pretty easy pregnancy, so I figured that is the reason why postpartum life is sucking right now. My incision pain is fine, but I am having pain on my right side that is causing me to not be able to lie flat. I am also having really bad right shoulder pain; also not comfortable lying flat. I haven't slept in my own bed for almost 2 weeks now! I am sleeping in the glider out in the living room. *sigh* I am getting better and I think I will be able to sleep in bed soon, which will be great! Last night I passed this almost tennis ball sized clot (sorry if TMI) so we will see if my dr is concerned about that today when I see him. I am still having bright red bleeding (not heavy) with some small clots. I thought that would be over by now. I also have this rash all over my stomach. nice! It started in my stretch marks (sexy!) and now it's going all oer the place. Lovely!

At my appointment on Friday, I wasn't showing any signs either, but then I never did with Beckett. (I was never dialated or had a single contraction or anything until my water broke.) I'm with you Chelsea- I am so ready. Let's hope we both go a little early
Good luck at the doctor tomorrow.
A friend back home was due a week before me and was showing no signs at her OB appt last Monday. Her water broke last night so its giving me some hope!
My moms convinced I am going to go any day, but LO still hasn't "dropped"...moved down... yes, but not dropped.
Married Bio
I'm still battling the awful migraines 3 to 4 days a weel. I started spotting some today without any cramps, but previously had irregular cramping and back pain but no spotting. Things are just making me worried right now and I seem to be emotional about anything relating to LO. I have a Dr appointment 1st thing tomorrow so hopefully everything checks out okay. They didn't rush me in because this was a scheduled appointment and said if it gets worse go to ER.

I can't believe Kennedy is over a week old already. She's such an amazing wonderful baby. She takes her sleeping very seriously, and I love nothing more than having her asleep on my chest. She goes back to the cardiologist tomorrow.
I wish I could say I was doing as well as her. I'm a complete mess emotionally, and having a much harder time dealing with all the unexpected news than I expected. I have my good moments, especially when I'm snuggling her. But a lot of time I just cry and think about how everything we expected and dreamed of will not be what we had hoped. I love Kennedy more than anything in the world, nothing will change that, but this whole thing has been a huge shock and it's a really big adjustment. The birth and first few hours afterward were so perfect. I just want to go back to that time and enjoy it - with out all the worries and the stress.
I'm very sorry you're having a difficult time
It will get easier! Just remember - she still is perfect! You are going to be an amazing mom! An adjustment period is more than normal. Hang in there!
