This is what we get for not calling ahead on Friday night to see if the art museum was actually open or not:

It was actually pretty funny, we were both just laughing at the whole thing. So date night quickly turned to Plan B, which was to traipse down the snowy sidewalks to Blue for a glass of wine and live music, not too shabby! And the city was beautiful all quiet and covered in snow.
Re: Whoops!!
It definitely was!
I thought it was good that we were able to laugh it off, move on and have fun, rather than someone getting upset, which is what would have happened in any of my previous relationships!
I'm surprised the museum closed early! However, I've been hearing great things about Blue - I had guests at the inn the other night in town because the husband was playing there, which I thought was pretty cool. I don't know what day you went, but he played Thursday night.
Sounds like a great date!
How cool! We were there Friday but they have live music each night, I believe. The owner is the niece of one of my best friends, so I always enjoy going there.
The aim of life is to live, and to live means to be aware; joyously, drunkenly, serenely, divinely aware. -Henry Miller

Definitely
I already knew we got along well as friends and had a lot in common but this new "venture" is going so well I've almost been pinching myself! LOL
