I need some help from all my fellow makeup goddesses. There are a few items in my collection that I don't have a prefect fit for yet. Please share your recs for the following:
- Eye primer (I have oily lids, so my mid-day my mascara has transferred on to my top lid. Not cute!)
- Eyebrow pencil or shadow (I have very light brows which I need to darken in order to have an expression)
- Waterproof mascara
- Lip stain (need color that LASTS)
Thanks ladies!

Re: Makeup Goddess Monday
For eye primer I use Clinique touch base for eyes (#10 canvas) and I love it.
I am not really loyal to any particular brand of Eyebrow pencil. I had a Sephora brand one that I liked, but my dog destroyed it, so I am currently using one from Clinique (it was the only non-grocery store makeup place near where I was at the time). It's okay, but when it runs out I'm heading for Sephora.
I used Sephora store brand waterresistent mascara. It comes off in the shower, but it is proof against crying and such.
Sephora also has a new Stain & Shine lip stain (I bought mine for the wedding) that works pretty well.
I struggled with eyebrow pencils for years, not being able to find the proper ash blonde shade. All "ash blonde" pencils end up looking red for some reason. I stumbled upon this anastasia brow powder, and now I SWEAR by it! It's so soft and natural looking, so you won't get those stripper brows.

TTC Since January 2011 - We have bad spermme too. the pink and green bottle never lets me down.
For eye primer, I use this one from Urban Decay.
I got it like a year ago & I think the purple (original, colorless) one was the only one they had at the time. There are a couple different ones now that are shimmery & cute, so I want to try one of them next. Now if only there was a place in town that has them. I'll have to wait for my next trip to Birmingham where I can hit Sephora.
I have that L'Oreal "Beauty Tubes" mascara & it's amazing. It doesn't come off until I wash my face in the shower, and more importantly for me (because this is a problem I've always noticed), it doesn't smear under my eyes at all. I have ridiculous allergies (to freaking EVERYTHING) & my eyes itch a lot, so I get raccoon eyes from most mascara. But this one is awesome. The only weird thing that was weird to me at first was that when you wash it off in the shower, it comes off in pieces. It freaked me out at first, but now I love it b/c I don't have to scrub black smudge off my face. I just wish it came in a more brownish color. Black looks kind of harsh with my skin tone unless I'm doing a smoky eye.
For lip stain, I like Stila Cherry Crush & Pomegranate Crush. I have both, but my cherry one is almost gone b/c I've had it for ages. It says you can use it as a cheek stain too, but I've never tried it. The color for both is easy b/c you can use a little bit, or layer it to make it brighter, But do NOT, under any circumstances, waste your money on the other colors (Mango, Yumberry, Coconut, etc.). They claim to be the same product, just different color, but they're totally not. They're basically a sticky gloss. Yuck.
