When will you start your seedlings in the mideast?
I'm outside of DC and wondering when the best time to start seedlings are? Last year I think I got a late start and didn't get good crops until late July. I'd like my seedlings to be more mature when I plant them after the frost, but I don't know if March is too early to start the seedlings inside? Thoughts?
Re: When will you start your seedlings in the mideast?
this 100% depends on the particular plant. I'm in DC too & use this as my guide:

I use 4/15 as the last date for spring crops (lettuces mostly) and 5/15 for summer ones (tomatoes, eggplant, peppers, etc)
