Ahem. Some of us are slacking, me included.
So I challenge everyone who blogs to write a new post this week. And at the end of the week, I'll try to remember to post here and we can all share links to our new posts. How's that sound?
Re: bloggers, a challenge.
Just about any ol' thing? Or will there be a topic of choice? Could make things interesting if we came up with a list of topics and then were able to read each other's thoughts on the topics....
I was just thinking anything. I know some of us write about specific things (recipes, etc). Just as long as it is a meaningful post, not a "well crap it's been forever, but I'm still alive" post. Just wanted to motivate everyone.
If anyone needs ideas, you could do one of those "25 random things about me" posts. I've done one already, but they are always fun to read!
Blog
I've had at least two posts that are written but I haven't pressed post... in forever. I need to get back on the train (now that my laptop works again, it's a lot easier!)
one of my new year's resolutions was to blog more, I failed that one.

I need this. I like to blog. I just get busy and forget about it. I also don't have too much going on that is interesting.
I did finally awtch Food, Inc. last night so I could write about that. I pretty much alerady knew everything that it presented, but actually seeing how farmers have been treated by Monsanto and the meat companies just makes me angry. Especially since I'm from a farming family.

2012 Reading Challenge
Since I haven't posted since October, I've actually been thinking of taking down the food blog, if not both. Everything coming out of my kitchen has been crap and I just haven't been in the grove since returning from England. It takes too much time and I can't seem to find a routine to make it more efficient.
Ofcourse, if the govt. shuts down, I'll have tons of time, just no money because we'll be in a no income house (lovely!). If the other changes come about (email group knows what I'm talking about), maybe I'll start posting again.
I think I just get more stressed than happiness out of the blogs because I want them to look good/be successful. Maybe I'm not blogging for the right reasons.
