I'm watching him on Piers Morgan right now, and it's truly interesting listening to him justify his crazy. He actually said he had a hernia and "just hit the vodka too hard" because he wouldn't dare take pain killers. WTF?!

I think he needs to go to rehab in a remote area, off grid. He's a chronic relapser and seems like his binges happen after he gets out of a long term relationship. Slowly digging his own grave.

He should meet up with Robert Downey Jr and ask him how he turned his life around.

A friend of mine who is a publicist in Hollywood thinks he bought off the drug tests that supposedly came back clean yesterday.

Me, I think it's a possibility that he IS sober, has been self-medicating for bipolar disorder, and is in the mother of all manic swings right now. 

Either way, oof.

I could be wrong here but I thought if given a drug test by way of taking a strand of hair that could detect drugs? I just also think that since this is what some of the gossip media wants, you know a wild story, he's providing it as well.

There are hair tests...but it generally takes more than a single strand.  When we did them at blockbuster, it was a segment as big around as a pencil.  The hair test will tell about drug use for as long as that hair's been around (so, it could be months) a urine test will only pull up recent usage.

They'll slum it actually. Fergie from the Black Eyed Peas was a meth head. I didn't know they could drug test with hair. That's cool. He's definitely a drug addict but he could playing up the crazy for attention, too.

Just watching him trying to glamourize his horrible addiction with such grandiose words and phrases just magnifies how deep he's in it. I feel bad for him on one hand, but on the other he's been such a d-bag in recent years. I'm not sure if his career (or life) will recover from this, but I do hope he's getting (or will get) the help he needs. If he does get clean, I bet he'll look back on these recent interviews and think "WTF!?"
