Fun activities in Charlotte

Hi Everyone,

My husband (love saying that) and I recently got married (exactly 17 days go) we have been living in Charlotte for over 1 year but can't seem to find fun activities for youg couples. I am originally from NY and he is from D.C. so we are used to big cities with tons of fun things to do.

Any ideas where we can meet people our age (I am 25, he is 28) and fun activities? We've been working and wedding planning most of our time here so we have not had the opportunity to g out.

Any idea would be great!! Thank you!

have you tried www.meetup.com .  They have some groups on their geared to couples in the Raleigh area, so I'd bet they have some in Charlotte too.

I'm old now my 3rd kid on the way so I don't the new stuff going on but I always loved going there.  And I'm sure its better now that is in the epicentre.

We just moved to Charlotte, from Houston, and I know exactly what you mean!  Not sure what part of town you live in, we are in Matthews, but there was a fun outdoor wine place up in the University area that we went to when we were staying in a hotel before our move.  Its near the hilton off of W.T. Harris.
