I made this Chicken-Ham Lasagna from Cooking Light on Sunday and have been eating its leftovers since:

     http://find.myrecipes.com/recipes/recipefinder.dyn?action=displayRecipe&recipe_id=10000001142008

I subbed 1/4 lb proscuitto for the ham and added sauteed mushrooms and onions.  It's delicious!!  I realize it's not something you can probably eat though, so it's not particularly helpful, I know.

  • I just had a spoonful of Nutella!

I just had Nutella on a graham cracker. That stuff is too dangerous to have around!!

We had chicken salad (with cranberries, nuts, etc) on homemade bread for dinner.

  • We had chicken grilled on the Griddler and steamfresh broccoli and cheese rotini pasta.  It works since I haven't been to the store.

  • making food for one pot luck is enough, but two, you go girl. I

forgot to bring anything to the last pot luck breakfast we had at school, luckily I am in the "all others" group in the breakfast rotation so there are a lot of us. My food wasn't missed like it would have been if I was on one of the grade level teams.

    We had tacos for supper.

  • Leftover turkey, scalloped potatoes, and (stove top) stuffing.  DH fried a turkey on Sunday night.  The original meal also included green beans but those were all gone and I was too lazy to cook up some more.

I wish I had your willpower! I can't keep Nutella in the house. I'm likely to eat half a jar instead of just one spoonful Embarrassed

We had Broccoli Shrimp with Brown rice and a side salad.

  • Friends brought over dinner so I didn't have to cook tonight! She made an awesome lasagna, it hit the spot!

If you're ever looking for ideas, I post my menu for the week on my blog every Monday and some weeks I have links to certain recipes. www.thewescotts.blogspot.com

  • I had black bean chicken chili and from scratch cornbread.  James, DH, and I devored it- yum!

  • I made shepherds pie for DH and shrimp and broccoli stir fry for myself

  • I failed at dinner, big time. I ate a veggie hot dog - no bun, no ketchup, just plain out of the can - and then Matt and I randomly decided to go out and have a drink and get McDonald's on the way home. Nutrition fail, fun random evening win!

  • Three squares of dark chocolate with almonds & cranberries and a bowl of leftover cheese grits. And an extra helping of stupidity on Teen Mom 2.

Is it obvious that DH went back out to sea??? Stick out tongue
