Red River Gorge
I'll start off a non-introductory post 
DH and I have been kicking around the idea of going to the Gorge for a few years now. Have any of you ladies ever been? Recommend places to stay (bonus points if they're pet friendly)? We're close enough for a day-trip, but sometimes it's nice to get away!

We always camped out. I can't remember there being nice places to stay nearby.
Must sees: In Nada county, drive through Nada Tunnel. Hike some trails to Half Moon, Chimney Rock, Rainbow Bridge and Natural Bridge.
