My little girl is sleeping in her big girl bed for the first time ever. We bought it today. She will never be a teeny weeny baby ever again. ![]()
She is 24 lbs 8 oz and 36" tall. She is 20% for weight and 97% for height. She is developmentally on track with her birth age (NOT her adjusted age). For example, she is on par with all kids turning 2, not back with the 22 month olds (since she was 9 weeks early). Hopefully, her "preemie" stuff is over and we can just focus on being a regular 2 year old with not worrying about ohh well she is really 9 weeks younger than that.
She is growing up so fast! I cannot even believe that she is going to be 2. I have been very very weepy about it. I am so happy with her age; she is so much fun. It is just hard to think she won't toddle around like she did a year ago ever again.
Re: Cries
Reading this makes me want to cry! Big hugs Momma, it had to happen sometime!
It will happen to your sweet girl too.
She cried a ton last night, finally fell asleep, woke up, came into our room, me into her room, she fell asleep, she heard me walk out, she screamed, repeat, repeat when i had to pee, send dh in there with her, she falls asleep and he did some ninja moves to get out (1 am), she sleeps until 8 am. Nap FAIL. she is asleep on the couch right now. Hopefully tonight goes a lot better. it is like sleep training all over again. it is hard to get away from our awesome routine but it will be better for her in the end. stupid pedi telling me stupid story about kid falling out of crib bc trying to climb out and breaking both arms. ugh. she has tried to climb out so that story was the straw that broke the camel's back so to speak to get us to just buy her a toddler bed.
It just kills me. My friend told me that the 12 year olds all get blow jobs and what not. I almost died. and then I did the math on how to afford private school. lol.
audrey is 3' tall. yeah. that is a whole yard. 9 more yards and she would be a first down. insane.
