NOO! :(

Since our discussion about how it would be best to move back to NC, I've been counting down the days.  Now, I realize CLT isn't what we call "home," but it's darn well closer to Raleigh than GA is.  I was happy to be moving back in the right direction.  Yes, this is coming from the couple who stated when they got engaged that they "would never live in NC again." HA!

But now DH has an interview in....Tampa.  Florida.  Further south.  Farther from home.  I'm excited for him and proud of him, and heck--living at the beach wouldn't be SO bad, but I'm a little bummed and am kind of secretly hoping something better comes along in CLT.

If you all wouldn't mind sending out some "bring fish back to NC vibes," I'd really appreciate it!

Re: NOO! :(

  • Oh shucks!  Hopefully you and your Dh will have a bevy of options when it comes time to move, including NC.  If you want, you might want to see if American Tribal is over on the baby boards.  I don't think she's a Tampa native, but she's from FL originally and moved up here for awhile, and has plans to move back.  She may be able to give you a good comparison of pluses and minuses of each place for you.

Good luck--and hopefully your dream will come true.

  • Good luck, I hope it all works out.
