Anyone use Dr Sharon Nelson?
Hey all... I don't usually post over here (I'm a SAL Bump girl mostly) but I posted months back asking about OB/GYNs in the Pasadena area. I ended up going with Dr Sharon Nelson of Verdugo Hills, and am set to deliver in about 9 weeks (eeek).
Anyway - I was wondering if anyone used her for OB/L&D, and if so, what your experience was. I've liked her so far but my birth classes made me really nervous about certain things, and I'm curious how she is with typical birthing issues (c-sections, episiotomies, and the like).
Would love to hear your experiences... TIA, LA Nesties!

I go to Dr. Osterkamp. ?Same office. ?Dr. Nelson helped perform my emergency c-section. ?She was very kind. ?My dr's daughter (who i went to high school with) goes to Dr Nelson. ?I assume this is a pretty good endorsement.
I would suggest not getting induced if you can avoid it. ?But aside from that just stick to your birthing plan. ?I never felt pressure to do anything I didn't want to do. ?

Hello! I don't have any info on Dr. Nelson, sorry, but if I may suggest that you talk to her about your birthing plan and any and all questions you have. I remember feeling like you after attending my birthing classes, nervous and in my case a bit overwhelmed. I soon talked to my OB and we came up with a plan together. We also communicated thru-out both deliveries as to what what happening or not, what needed to done and why.
