Scottsdale restaurant recs

I'll be traveling to Scottsdale at the end of March. Can you share some restaurant recommendations with me? I'm looking for a fine dining type of place. I'll be traveling with my parents, so I'm looking for something more elegant than trendy. A few places that I'm considering that seem to have gotten good reviews are: Cafe Monarch, Petite Maison, and La Hacienda (we're staying at the hotel where this is located). Let me know if you have recs or have been to any of these restaurants. Thanks!

Re: Scottsdale restaurant recs

  • La Hacienda @ the Fairmont Princess is really good. You could also check out T.Cooks @ the Royal Palms and Prado @ the InterContinental Montelucia Resort. All are in Scottsdale. If those are too pricey, Houstons or Roaring Fork are always great options too :) Have fun on your visit and hopefully that helps!

  • We really like Mastro's City Hall, it is a nice steak house, should fit what you are looking for.
  • Cafe Monarch is wonderful but I would call it more homey than elegant.

I am a fan of Fogo de Chao (Brazilian Steakhouse) and Olive and Ivy has a wonderful brunch.  Cielo is fun but it is incredibly modern. I'm also a fan of Modern Steak but I do not believe it is what you are going for (wonderful decor but is part of Scottsdale Fashion Square).
