AW: I got a new camera

Normally I wouldn't post about something as mundane as a camera purchase, but I have been researching and saving for almost two years, and I finally bought my camera today.

If you're really interested in details, you can read about it here. But mostly, I'm excited, and DH isn't home tonight because he's off being a nerd, and I needed to tell someone

eta: my first picture, I had to use the flash, because it's very dark outside.

Re: AW: I got a new camera

  • A camera purchase is NOT mundane--it's VERY exciting!!  Congratulations on your new camera!  Hope you have a ton of fun with it :)
  • That is awesome and not mundane!  I totally understand how you feel....  I saved for 2 years and asked for gift cards to National for my Birthday and Christmas!  It took me a 3 trips there to actually purchase my camera!  Have fun with it!
Our "Little Birdie" Lucas Geoffrey born February 19, 2013! A miracle from the very beginning!
  • I don't think it's mundane either.  I recently started saving for one and it feels like I'll never have enough....it makes me feel better that other people have to save and eventually get there.  Congratulations and happy picture taking!
