Anyone have a Stick Vacuum
I'm looking for something that will work well on my hardwood floors. Any recs?
TIA
Re: Anyone have a Stick Vacuum
Cygal and All-His recommended the Electrolux Egorapido to me when I last asked and I really do love it. It comes with a stand so it's not flopping all over the mud room. I took the brush out of mine so that I didn't risk dulling the floors, but it says you don't have to. It also has a dust buster attached to it for the smaller jobs.
My process for cleaning the floor on a daily basis (like 6 times) is to use the stick vacuum, then the microfiber mop. Then get the stickies with a damp rag. Then on a weekly basis I steam mop so that I don't ruin the floors. I hate to do that every day.
I'm glad you like it!! My brush broke, I should try using it without it. Great idea!
this is the one I have. I bought it in store at Target on Hwy 141.

Just an FYI- you should check before you use a steam mop on hardwood floors I don't recommend it. this guy talks pretty well about it.

I got this Hoover one:

I like it because you don't have to put the whole vac on the charger. The battery pops out and there is a seperate charger for it, therefore you can buy a second battery and always have a charged up vacuum ready to go! There is a really nice warrenty on the battery too just in case something goes wrong.
You also have the option to turn the brush head on or off so you can use it without worrying about scratching the wood floors, but still have the option to use it on carpet. It works great on the plush carpet in our livingroom!
I hardly ever recommend anything, that's how much I love this vacuum. It is a bit more pricey then other models on the market right now. I didn't pay as much as it is in the link I included. I got mine from amazon.com and I know it wasn't that much then. Shop around.
