BR: playmat?

I feel like I should be "doing" more with Parker....should we go get a play mat to have play time with him?  We do tummy time and play with his arms/legs to interact with him, just wondering if I should be doing more?  What do/did you ladies do with your babies?

Re: BR: playmat?

  • probably you're doing plenty but the little fisher price play mat with the music and lights saved my sanity when I needed to put the baby down. music and lights are key IMO.  :)

This photo doesn't really show it the greatest, but we used an old curtain rod over his pack and play to hang toys on. We didn't have a play mat, but we had a hand me down pack and play that was always set up on the main level and plus I'm a cheapskate. He didn't really get into this until he was 4 months or so.

Now my heart hurts after looking at bitty photos of Michael. :o
