Law People

Okay, I'm trying to finish up my bar application, because it's due the 15th and I have serious felony trial starting the 14th, plus school.  I'm working on getting my character and fitness affidavits out of the way, since they involve participation by someone else.

For my first one, the professor just asked for my full legal name, and I picked it up yesterday all ready to go.  I emailed another professor last night about getting the other one done, and this morning she said yes.  However, she asked me to mail it to her.

What do I mail??  Should I essentially copy the format of the one my other professor did, just changing the relevant information and leaving her signature and notary lines?  I just don't want to put words in her mouth if that's not the appropriate thing to do.

By the way? These things are a pain in the as$. Stick out tongue

Re: Law People

  • Yeah, the application is no fun.

I would email her back and let her know there is nothing to mail but you would think she would know that if she's a law school prof.   Strange.  I wouldn't copy the other one for her to sign but you could offer to send her a template that she can fill out using her own words.

I can't believe you're graduating.  That time flew by.

She's an adjunct, but she teaches at UST and the U, so I can't imagine I'm the first person to ask her! I was just worried that there was something I was supposed to know to prepare, but if she's the one who's off, I feel better Smile

And let me tell you, it does not feel like it flew by to me!
