Your favorite restaurants
What are some of your favorite restaurants in the downtown/uptown Dallas area?
DH and I are wanting to try new restaurants and like any kind of cuisine from Italian to Sushi. However, we tend to stick to our favorites. Just looking for something different!

There are so many! How much do you want to spend?
La Duni is my go-to. (Although I usually eat at the northpark location, I know they have one in Uptown). I've never had anything less than amazing there, and I'm a little obssessed with Dunia, the pastry chef/owner. She's so talented!
If you want to spend a little more , Victor Tango's on Henderson is really fun, and the food is amazing.
I'm sure there are a ton i'm not thinking of (I'm a suburbanite, so it's really only work lunches that I get out there!) check yelp.com. There are tons of reviews and you can scan through pages of restaurants and get ideas.
For american food we really like the Neighborhood Services at both locations, Henderson and Preston.
For sushi, Gui is nice, kind of cozy and cute.
We recenlty ate at Charlie Palmer, the food was good, service was excellent but at that price we had much higher expectations as far as taste and presntation goes.
