Party Favor Etiquette Question
I am having LittleP's birthday party next week and I have a question about party favors.
About 6 friends can't make the party, but have sent gifts. Is a thank you card enough, or should I give them party favors, too? Are the favors only for party attendees?

Great! That is what I was thinking, but I just wanted to make sure I wasn't going to offend anyone.
We usually order favors for the amount of people we invite, so we always end up having extra. We give them to the people who send gifts but don't attend, but like everyone else said, we don't go out of our way to get it to them.
We originally invited 28 kids and I ordered 30 favors. I wanted to keep one or two for CJ, it is a cute crayon roll and coloring book, perfect for diaper bag storage, etc. But then I had to invite 2 more kids due to unforseen running into old friends and boom, I was in a quandry!!
