Best thrift stores?

I've recently started getting into going to thrift stores....mostly looking for furniture to refinish. Do you ladies have any recommendations for good ones?

Re: Best thrift stores?

  • There's one on Moody Street in Waltham that seems to have a decent amount of furniture in it.  I don't know what it's called, but you can't really miss it, it's right on the main part of Moody where all the restaurants and stuff are.
I'd rather be rock climbing or playing volleyball

  • The salavation army at Davis Sq has furniture on its lower level.  A lot of people do not bother to go down to the lower level so I have found some nice things there.  (Usually refinish projects).
