Lewis and Clark sites?

Hi All-

My parents are visitng in a few weeks and my dad really wants to visit some Lewis and Clark sites, since he's a huge history buff and loves L&C. I know there's some sites in Astoria, so I think we'll make a weekend trip and go there since my mom also loves the coast and we can mozy down the coast the next day. Any other recommendations? Any recs IN Astoria for L&C sites?

Are you planning on going to Fort Clatsop?  That's the first place that pops to mind.  It's pretty cool, especially if they have the actors/reenactors there when you visit.  You could call ahead to see when they will be there.

That's kinda what I was looking for! I knew of Fort Clatsop, but wasn't sure if it was worth going to? Sounds like it would be!

I've seen a few things online (like what MrsJRD referenced) but not sure what is worth going to or not.

I really like Ft Clatsop.  We take our Chinese students every summer, and every year I think "I want to come back sometime when it's just H and me" so I have more time to explore.
