I just watched my cousin's 4-month marriage unfold on facebook over the past 2 days.
She's a weeeeeirdo and a beebee. She's 23, he's 25 and has already been in recovery for drug/alcohol addiction. They lived with my aunt and uncle for 6 mo. before the wedding, and 2 mo. after. My aunt and uncle bankrolled their move from VA to Portland, OR and supported them for 2 months while they got jobs.
Her first post was Friday night - Well, that was short lived.
Saturday morning her name was back to maiden and status was single
Then there was a status that she just "shipped him back to VA"
Then one that she caught him trying to cheat, but stopped him before it happened.
Then finally this morning, she's glad her friends are supportive because her family obviously doesn't care.
I didn't see all of this until last night, so I called my parents at 9pm and told them. Then saw this morning's family doesn't care... so I emailed her and said I was sorry, but that no one knew and we obviously care, but my parents aren't on FB and your parents didn't call them (probably too embarassed...) So yeah, we'll see how this one plays out. I feel bad b/c this all came down the way it did, but I have been enjoying the past 4 months of ridiculous status' about her marriage...
