We are turning our guest room into an office/guest room, so that it is a more usable space for us. I'm deciding between a golden retriever theme (that will be utilized when the room turns into a nursery down the road- quickest being in 1 year) or art that we already own and matches the color scheme a bit more.
Here's the room as a guest room. We moved the head of the bed against the wall with the stars and moved the dresser under the TV. Now a red desk is where the dresser used to be.
Here's a dark picture of the new arrangement before the desk was painted red.
New curtains, which are being used as the color scheme (rust- color of desk, pumpkin, buttery yellow and teal blue).
Here are the golden pictures we already own.
We have the golden version of this in a black frame:
Bought this at Home Goods for $15 last night in a black frame!
Here are prints I'm considering ordering.

If I don't go with the golden retriever themed artwork, then I'll use a print we got on our honeymoon (currently hanging in another room), the stars and then probably some framed fabric. So nothing really exciting, but it may not be as "cheesy" as the dog prints.

Re: Is this wall decor cheesy? PsIP and POLL
This was my feeling. But I always worry about being that crazy dog person. But it is okay if you have it contained to one room, right? And I thought these prints were more on the modern side so they didn't immediately set off the crazy dog lady alarm.
I completely agree! Actually when this room turns into a nursery, I don't want to tell anyone that it is a golden themed room because then we are going to end up with dog everything! I really want to just keep it to the pictures and that's it!
