Shauni

What do you do (if anything) with your egg yolks?  I was also making egg white omlets, but felt guilty throwing away the yolks.  Just cursious if you do anything with them.

Re: Shauni

  • i buy the boxes of just egg whites--WAY cheaper!  make sure to buy 100% real eggwhites and not some chemically processed egg beater stuff.  just the egg whites!  :)
  • Thanks for the tip!

The first couple weeks I was eating egg white omlets, but I felt like it was a waste of money! :-)

  • yeah, if you buy real eggs it WOULD be a waste of money to do that all the time!  buy the whites only, way cheaper!  i only buy real eggs for baking.  which i now do not do as much since WW...but i think i will this week :)  just keep tracking your points for EVERYTHING you eat and plan ahead!  it is working really well for me and i think the hardest part is just tracking.

it is also really discouraging to think that it can take ONE MEAL to GAIN 1.5 pounds, but two weeks to lose it.  so its like "what, i can NEVER splurge?"  but its not so bad!

  • As ironic as I know it is, since Shauni is fairly anti-preggers, I thought you were asking her about her eggs.  You know? like the ones in her ovaries.

My co-worker was just telling me that he and his wife are considering gender selection.

Another guy was talking about IVF.

We've got eggs (human) eggs on the brain today in here.
