How was your weekend?

What did everyone do this weekend?

Unfortunately mine was spent mostly on the couch in my pjs. Sad I came down with some kind of stomach bug on Friday afternoon and couldn't keep anything down.  Thankfully DH was able to stay home on Saturday to help with Raedyn even though he was supposed to be at his drill weekend.  They got some good father-daughter bonding time at a gun shop!  Stick out tongue

Re: How was your weekend?

  • I was on call and ended up having patients on Saturday. Got to love the overtime!!

  • I'm loving that picture of Raedyn. She's all "Yeah, I got some on my face. What of it?"  ;)

My weekend was good - just busy! Amazingly awesome date night on Friday, Ryan's first spring training game on Saturday, and lunch with some girl friends on Sunday.

It went by too fast. I'm gonna start lobbying for 3-day weekends. Maybe 4-day weekends. Who's with me??

  • My weekend was...productive :)  I was hoping for relaxing, but with only 14 (ish) weekends of freedom left until EDD I really can't afford relaxing.

We spent most of the weekend working on Ariadne's room.  The fabric for her curtains/crib skirt arrived Friday, so we were picking paint colours and painting trim all weekend.

I also spent some time in the kitchen making falafel and granola - Baby is looooving granola right now!

  • This was a first real weekend here in Arizona. We did some unpacking and checked out the farmer's markets in Gilbert and Ahwatukee. I also got in a run and went to the grocery store. We finally watched Inception too. Not a super thrilling weekend, but it was pretty relaxing.

  • I spent all weekend doing yardwork and wedding stuff. Less than two weeks! Eeeeek!

BTW I love the name Raedyn...so unique!

  • Oh no I hope you're feeling better!

I worked Saturday and most of Sunday...I ended up getting off Sunday a few hours early because we were low on patients.  So DH and I went to Lowe's for paint samples for the baby's room and then started installing the ceiling fan, which we finished this morning!  And it only took 2 Lowe's trips and 5 paint samples before we finally picked a color haha.

  • Saturday I helped clean out our Fry Bread booth from the previous week's sales at the Great Fair, headed over to Good Will and picked up a new (to me) purse and pair of shoes that look like they've never been worn and after that vegged out watching Dead Like Me on DVD.

Sunday I volunteered at the Dialysis Walk in town, headed over to Anthem and picked up some stuff and treated myself to Chompies after.  =)

All in all, was a great weekend...  I actually didn't have to work.

  • Ended up working an almost 12 hr shift on saturday, so when I got home I kept it low key and sewed/crocheted for a little before I passed out.

Sunday, I finished up my sewing and decided to throw myself a Sex and the City mini marathon...lol

  • Ours was pretty good. We did our dream dinner meal prep on Saturday, went to a kiddo bday party that afternpon for a friend of ours. Cleaned house sunday morning since we were doing a combo housewarming/bbq for myhusbands family that afternoon. Whole weekend was great, but poor Aiden decided he was not going to nap at all Sunday for longer than 5 min so by the time evening hit, we had a BEAR on our hands. It was a fun weekend, and the last full weekend at home. I go back to work next weekend, byebye maternity leave. Boo!
