agree...if he wants to give you that id try to say no once and then just accept it. that way you did try to refuse that amount of money, but you don't want to make him upset by not accepting his gift
if you do not feel comfortable receiving this money, maybe ask him to make a donation in your name/honor to the charity of your choice with part of the cash.

I dated a millionaire once...
....but he forgot to mentioned that brother dearest had a bit of gambling problem and of the 2.5 million they received and split, he had about $50K left and brother dearest had -30K in debt. So I guess I dated a broke ex-millionaire. Which really doesn't have the same ring to it.

In college the guy I dated on and off for 3 yrs...I didn't know if when we first met and started dating, but his father was a millionaire. He even bought me a porsche when I tried to break up w/ him for good...trying to get me to stay w/ him. I really thought about being that person who'd stay and be w/ someone just because of money and I couldn't do it. A few weeks later I met Don. He still finds ways to contact me to this day...he's an independant contractor w/ the Army and I know of the company he works for and they make a sh!t ton of money. So he doesn't need his daddys money anymore...he's got his own.
I admit that every once in a while I wonder what my life would be like if I'd stayed just for money...life would be easier, but I wouldn't be happy.
I'm a sucker for a Porsche. I'd gladly whore myself out for a twin turbo. hahaha
I kid.
I've had the opportunity to date some really wealthy men, but I found that nothing could tear me away from my Chrissy poo - who, in any case I think will be wealthy one day. He's one of the smartest people I know. Ambition makes me so horny.
That plus we're going to win the Powerball.

I'm really wondering if we can get rich on scratch-offs. We're still playing off the ones we got for christmas. everytime we win a couple bucks, we buy more tickets. One of these days we're gonna hit the jackpot...I just know it.
