Where to get an updo in Lincoln Park area?

I'm in a wedding in November and need to have my hair done for it.  SIL lives near Diversey/Damon/Clybourn.  She's having someone come to her place to do her hair, etc.  Cost is $75 for an updo.  I know from experience (used to live there) that Chgo is not cheap but that seems kind of ridiculous.

Am I wrong?

Anyway, can you recommend a salon in the general area, even a stylist's name, for an updo?  General cost?  I'd love to spend no more than $60 if possible.

I went to Curl Up and Dye a few times back in the day but have heard that's super pricey now.  Plus, my stylist is no longer there (became a drug addict and stopped working - nice).

I usually just go to the Aveda Institute for cuts, since they're so cheap.  They do updos for a reasonable price as well, but it'll be a pretty big time investment.

You might want to check with Carissima.  They have two locations - Clark and Wrightwood-ish, and then Clark and Surf.

I got my wedding hair done at Sine Qua Non on Lincoln (near Diversey). I can't remember the cost. I want to say it was around $75, but my hair was kinda complicated. My bridesmaids had simpler hair, and I think theirs was cheaper.

$75 is average. ?I've been to Aveda Institute but I wouldn't reco as it can take over 2 hours.
