Carrots and Germination time ...

Did we say that carrots germinate slowly? I checked my veggie garden this morning and everything else but the carrots have sprouted - spinach, peas, lettuce - no carrots. I planted everything on Feb. 20th.

I thought mine were slow, but really the snails were eating them the moment they germinated.  I didn't have any luck until I sprouted them in empty TP rolls inside and covered them with a cold frame when I put them in the ground.  It took me about 1.5 weeks to see the first sprouts.
