Spring is here
I was going to post a picture of our beautiful pear tree, which is in bloom, because it means spring is here in Houston! All the trees that flower are beginning to flower beautiful, colorful blooms, everything is turning green again, and it looks amazing outdoors! (Not to mention that I may have died and gone to San Diego because the weather is incredible today, too!)
Then this morning I walked out and my car is bright yellow and completely filthy from all the pollen. And everyone at my office is sneezing and coughing because of it.
This reminded me that I really only like the first few days of spring. Then I wish it could be winter again...

Don't take this the wrong way, but I hate you.
We're supposed to get 15-20 cm of snow tonight (6-8 inches).

TTC Since January 2011 - We have bad spermI agree! It has been raining here but I am soooo sick of the nasty brown grass.
I realize I'm a terrible person for wishing winter would come back when so many of you have had such awful winters.
But I go through this every year - I get so excited about spring, and then this happens.
Talk to me this summer when it's gorgeous where you all live and 100 here...with 100% humidity. You'll be thankful for your weather then!

Amen! In the summer when it is EASILY in the 100's, everyone can be thankful they aren't suffering. Thankful for me, there is very little humidity here....so I feel for ya!
Ok so we have the yellow pollen covering the truck but the flowers are starting in the yard. Thankfully the allergies have not flared up for DH and me.
These were taken this past weekend in our yard - japanese magnolias, azaleas and Mountain Laurel.
