Project Runway anyone? (spoiler)
I think I'm a bit numb over the whole thing last night. I guess I can't believe that Jerell was eliminated, and after already creating an entire line including a wedding dress. I agree with the judges and think that his choice of colors seemed dreary and dark, and the unstructured top - not feeling it.
I was surprised Kenley "brought it". Not my taste but it was cute and fashion forward.
Leanne interesting architecture, again not my taste but well made and pretty.
Korto's wedding dress confused me. The color, the construction, abstact, accessories - overload for me.

I had a feeling that Jerell was going to be auf'ed next after the shenanigans of last week. He, along with Leanne, should've gotten an automatic pass to Bryant Park since they were the top two designs of the last challenge. Korto and Kenley should have faced off this week, with the winner going to BP...they did this with Rami and Chris last season. Were the producers really that desperate to have Kenley in an all-female finale???? I hate her...even more so than any of the previous "villains" on this show. She has been consistently rude and disrespectful to Tim, the other contestants, and the judges.
Anyway, enough of my Kenley ranting. Jerell's collection was just too over the top. I really wish he had edited his wedding dress...there was just too much going on with it.
Kenley's was nice, but yes, derivative of an Alexander McQueen dress. The BM dress was cute, but a bit short for my taste.
Leanne's wedding dress looked so much better moving on the runway than it does in pictures! I liked her BM dress the best.
Korto's dresses were disappointing. I think she was overthinking everything.
I really hope Kenley doesn't win this season. If she does, I don't know if I'll watch next season.
I was so bummed Kenley made it though although it pains me to say her dresses were much nicer than Korto and Jerell. I feel like those 2 just choked on this challenge, especially Korto. I can't believe the judges even gave her a chance after her dress last week. I guess they just wanted to keep the drama up for TV which is so disappointing and really discredits the show.
Next week should be fun though. I'm excited. I'm betting on Leanne.
