You're a popular chick today!!
I live in Randolph (across the bridge from Gardiner) and work in Augusta. I met my husband at the Liberal Cup and he is a mug clubber. LOVE it there.
I've recently been going to A1 to Go in Gardiner a lot. They have fantastic soups and sandwiches and foodie kind of stuff. And Hallowell Pizza is awesome (better than 223 in my opinion). Bagel Maineia has great sandwiches (and bagels of course). Bay Wrap does fantastic stuff...breakfast and lunch.
Welcome to Kennebec County!
Re: **Stratton23**
haha if I'm not careful my head might start growing a little bit
I'm actually in Gardiner. I'm a little stunned that there's so many from central Maine on here, let alone so close by.
Once I'm in the clear to drink again I'd imagine we'll venture back to the Liberal Cup. While I don't mind my husband drinking during my pregnancy, I think he feels a little guilty rubbing it in my face so he hasn't suggested it recently. Do you go to the Diner side or the other part of A1? We tried the Diner and have been wondering if the more bistro style part of it is worth trying.
I'm loving how I've learned more about this area in the past few hours than I have in the past few months I've actually been living here. We've been so preoccupied with other things, we haven't taken the time to really get out and get to know the area.

Oh, how fun that we live so close to each other!
I like stopping into the other side of A1...the market side. I like to get a breakfast sandwich there.
In the summertime there is a farmers market in the park with lots of yummy stuff. And then there is the rail trail...not sure if you have discovered that yet. It runs from Hannaford all the way to Augusta. Not much fun in the winter though.
Let me know if you need anything.
Nice! Ya, I have to say I'm especially looking forward to the rail trail once the weather gets a little better. I like to run and when I was still living in Ottawa could always run by the water/Rideau Canal so it'll be nice to have that option again.
Thank you
