We used to eat out or get takeout or whatever almost every day. We've been better about eating at home lately though, because I've been making an effort to cook and we've made it a point to keep things in the house that we can throw together for an easy under-10-min meal.

We almost always order take-out or delivery on Friday night (with a big ol' box of wine) and we'll usually grab brunch/coffee on Saturday or Sunday.

 

We've gotten a LOT better about meal planning and cooking lately.  H will be out of town 10 of the next 12 days though, so I might be eating a lot of cereal

I work from home so I eat breakfast and lunch at home everyday, I'm also doing weight watchers so I make dinner almost every night.  H eats lunch out everyday, and since he's not a huge fan of veggies and some of my "healthier" meals he'll order pizza or grab fast food on the way home some days.  We do go out to dinner once a week for sure, usually on Friday.  Saturday we typically grab lunch out, and either do takeout for dinner, or I'll make dinner for the two of us.

I should say that I absolutely love to cook and experiment with new things, but being pregnant and working night shifts, it's just easier to grab takeout on my way to work or on my way home. I work an odd shift and am not allowed to take a break to eat while I'm at work (4.75 hour shifts = no break )... so I eat out much more than I should, but it's convenient If DH and I had evenings together, I would definitely cook much more!

I love to cook, so eating at home is no problem.  That said, we do eat out a couple of times a week mostly because we maintain a pretty big social circle and there's always someone who it just works out better to meet in a restaurant (they live far away and we're meeting halfway, they're afraid of our non-child-proof apartment, they're in town for two hours and need to stay near the airport, etc.)  In our area eating out is the most common activity and people go out a lot.  We also usually eat at other people's homes once or twice a week.

I think we are an eat out 1x a week couple. I love going to restaurants!

I love to cook and also try new recipes. So I cook almost everyday, but we make sure to have a date night once a week. I have been getting better at meal planning.

I eat lunch out every day, and then probably 1-2x a week.  I hate cooking, but DH loves to eat at home, so we cook most nights.  Mostly, he cooks.

When he leaves in 2 weeks, I'm nervous about how much I'll be eating out!!

Neat, everyone loves to cook!  I used to like cooking more...wonder what happened? I think that it just takes too much time out of the day when I only really have 4 hours at home (before bed) to do things. So H and I tend to cook dinners, but mostly just easy meals like pasta and such. And we go out or order in 2-3 times a week typically.

but we got lazy and started doing it too much so we've cut it out entirely for lent - great savings and a valuable lesson to be learned in how to prepare ahead of time!
