Created FB Group

May '08 Ladies, is the name I chose.

Most of you should have a notification that I've added you to the group.  Feel free to leave if it isn't your thing.  FB allows me to add people, instead of inviting you. 

I've added girls that I'm FB friends with AND post on the board.  There are a few girls that I'm friends with but don't post, so I didn't add them.  Sound fair? 

I've made the group "closed" which means that members are public but our content is private.  I can change it to secret which makes everything private.  Let me know if secret is the preference.

I left the group. I don't want any of that stuff showing on my page. TN, TB and all that is like a secret thing I do. I don't want ppl thinking I come to these boards and then here IRL ppl are looking for me.

Oh I never thought of that. If we make it private than people can't see it right? Would you come back if it was private?

Im not sure if its still like this but it use to be that if it was private no one got any notifications about when things were posted. That is how the IF group is and people never remember to go there and check it out so it died. Just something to think about.

I'm fine with either way, but sounds like some people may prefer "secret". I just need to know if stuff I post shows up on people's feeds other than you guys since I am not really supposed to FB other than work stuff at work. I can log into my boss's account later and check.

When someone posts on the group it shows up in MY news feed.  Next to the name of the person who posted is a little picture of a lock, and if you hover over it it says that only members can see this content.  And when I look at my wall it doesn't show anything, not even that I created the group.

Logged in as my husband and there is nothing for him to see about the group.  I don't even see where he could see what groups I'm in.
